Job Title: Coffee Lead
Classification: Full-time
Locations: All, as needed
Compensation: hourly + tips: $50,000 - $55,000+
We have an exciting opening for an experienced barista with the skills to expand our company barista training program, growing our team skills and to oversee cafe-level coffee programs to ensure a quality guest experience.
This position requires a strong understanding of specialty coffee and the industry. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality to bring fun & excitement to learning, the ability to teach and create educational programs, along with great barista and brewing skills. The Coffee Lead is an extension of our Cafe Lead teams who maintain a great cafe experience for our guests, supervising and participating in all cafe operations.
In this position you will work with the management team to execute and develop our education programs, teach, support our team with on-site QC of our coffee program and brewing/barista standards — you are involved with all things coffee. You will also be scheduled at our cafe locations for working as shift lead, assisting with production & roasting, and our events as needed. This is a super opportunity for the experienced barista further their career in the industry.

- Motivated self-starter
- Experience : demonstrate skills & have a desire to work and teach in the speciality coffee industry.
- Strong barista skills: latte art, dialing in coffee, pour overs, etc.
- Interest in coffee production, roasting and industry trends.
- Media & content development skills - multifaceted and creative
- Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Good communications and writing skills
- Excellent customer skills: friendly & engaging.
